My Approach

My therapeutic approach with eating disorder clients, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and individuals on the spectrum is rooted in compassion, understanding, and inclusivity. As a trauma-informed and person-centered therapist, I create a safe and non-judgmental space where clients can explore their unique experiences and challenges. By integrating evidence-based modalities such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I help clients develop coping strategies, enhance emotional regulation, and challenge negative thought patterns. My goal is to empower each individual to foster self-acceptance, resilience, and personal growth on their journey toward healing.

In working with clients from diverse backgrounds, I recognize the significance of cultural sensitivity and the intersectionality of identities. My approach is affirming and respects the unique needs and experiences of each individual. I am dedicated to providing tailored support, helping clients navigate through trauma, enhance their self-awareness, and build meaningful connections. Through our collaborative efforts, I aim to empower clients to embrace their authentic selves, promote mental well-being, and lead fulfilling lives.
