Nicole DuBord - Resident in Counseling
I’m passionate about creating a space where you can feel truly safe, heard, and supported —
a place where no topic is off limits, including those that can feel difficult or taboo, like sex, gender, and how these aspects of life connect with your mental health. Counseling feels like a calling to me, and I have always been drawn to helping people navigate life’s challenges with curiosity and care.
I work with a range of individuals, including LGBTQIA+ individuals, couples exploring sexual health and intimacy concerns, and survivors of sexual assault. Additionally, I have experience working with neurodivergent individuals and tailoring services to meet clients' unique needs. My approach is collaborative and client-centered: I want to know how you’d like sessions to feel and what you need most and will cultivate sessions around you. At the same time, I bring a direct and practical style when guidance or tools may be helpful, ensuring that you leave each session with insight and strategies you can use in daily life.
I deeply value the ability to witness people grow into the individuals they want to be —
finding confidence, resilience, and clarity along the way. I believe therapy is for everyone, and that everyone deserves a safe, nonjudgmental space to explore themselves and their experiences.
Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy reading, hiking, and cooking farm-to-table meals. I bring that same warmth, curiosity, and authenticity into each session, and I look forward to supporting you as you explore, heal, and thrive.
