Emma Grehan - Resident in Counseling
Therapy can offer the space to slow down, reflect, and start moving toward the life you want to live.
Beginning this journey can feel intimidating, but it’s also an act of courage and self-care. Together, we’ll explore the patterns and experiences that may be keeping you stuck, while also discovering your strengths and new possibilities for growth. I believe that therapy works best when it feels authentic and real. I bring warmth, honesty, and compassion to my work, and value building a strong therapeutic relationship where you feel heard and understood. I’m committed to creating a safe and affirming space for clients of every background, identity, and culture.
I enjoy working with teens and adults navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and life transitions, including those taking steps toward recovery from addiction, whether just
starting or further along the journey. My approach is collaborative and flexible, always tailored to what you need at the moment, while incorporating elements of ACT, self-compassion and mindfulness. Change doesn’t happen overnight, but you don’t have to navigate it alone. If you’re ready to take the next step, I’d be honored to support you along the way.
When I’m not in the therapy room, you can usually find me doing something creative—painting, crocheting, or making collages. I also love getting lost in a great book, especially thrillers and literary fiction.
